The EMF Committee is pleased to announce that applications for college scholarships will be accepted thru May 1, 2015. The main requirements for consideration as a scholarship recipient are that 1) you are a current member of St. Andrews; 2) you are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree; 3) you have been accepted by a 4-year college or university or are in good standing at one already. Age is not a determining factor. Your recent involvement in St. Andrews or related church activities, school activities, and community service activities will all be considered. To apply for a St. Andrews college scholarship, complete a type-written letter (1 to 1 ½ pages) that details the school you will be attending, the major you will be pursuing, and your recent involvement at St. Andrews. Also include school and community activities and any awards or recognition that you have received. The application letter is to be e-mailed to Cindy Russell by May 1, 2015 at the latest. Her e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have questions, contact a member the EMF or the church office (292-2131 or email@example.com).

-The application letter must include the applicant’s name, address, phone number and email address, as well as the criteria listed above.
-In any year when there area requests for scholarships funds, the Extended Ministry Fund Committee will review the applications and determine allocation of scholarship funds.
Amount of the Scholarship Award
The amount to be awarded to an individual student will depend on these factors:
-The number of students requesting support
-The amount of funds available to be awarded
-The amount that may be needed in subsequent years to continue to provide scholarship support to students receiving the scholarship
