Outreach Committee

The goal of the Outreach Committee is to strive to fulfill the St. Andrew’s vision statement. This committee invites and informs church members and visitors through advertising, such as postcards, newspaper, and website items, and through personal interaction with Worship Service greeters and our Welcome Table.

Outreach also "in-reaches" to members through meals to homebound individuals and new mothers, home visits, prayer list cards, remembrance gifts, and delivery of devotional materials.

Fellowship Committee

The Fellowship committee creates, coordinates, and assists in strengthening fellowship among members and visitors. Their typical activities include keeping supplies in stock for the kitchen and keeping the kitchen in good working order.

This committee also assists with fellowship after worship on Sunday and coordinates members to serve as hosts after service. They assist in hosting special occasions such as the Rally Sunday dinner, Thanksgiving Pie Fest, Soup Suppers, and Birthday Sunday, and help other committees or guests with special occasion dinners, picnics, receptions, funerals, and anniversaries.

Property Committee

This committee has the responsibility for oversight of all church property matters. This includes a broad range of fiscal, remodel/repair, and client relation skills for the church building, landscaping, and grounds as well as oversight of the church's rental ministry properties.

Pine Ridge Ministry Team

The Pine Ridge Ministry Team collects and delivers donations to the Pine Ridge Reservation. Several trips are taken each year to deliver the large number of donations collected for several organizations on the reservation.

This committee also works in cooperation with various agencies and individuals on the Pine Ridge Reservation to provide needs in areas of education, housing, healthcare, and economic development. They seek out ways to be in relationship with individuals on the reservation and at home, including exchanges of culture and faithful service

Stewardship and Finance Committee

This committee has the responsibility of monitoring, coordinating, and communicating the financial status and needs of the congregation as well as local and national benevolence agencies. Its primary mission is to develop and call out from all members their talents to carry out the vision of compassion and outreach in all ministries of St. Andrew’s.

Social Concerns Committee

This committee strives to show people the love of Christ through the promotion of social responsibility within the Christian faith of the congregation.

They educate the congregation regarding needed action on social problems at the local, state, national, and international levels, as well as study service organizations and facilitate in educating the congregation regarding the work of these organizations. This committee also offers recommendations for allocating church funds to such agencies.

They also coordinate volunteers to usher, prepare and serve communion, read scripture, assist the pastor, operate the sound system and livestream, and update the sanctuary based on the seasons of the church.
