Committees

There are a variety of committees at St. Andrew's, each focusing on a different aspect of our church community or ministry. If you feel called to share your time and talents by volunteering on any of the committees below, please email the church office at office@standrewsames.org.

Outreach Committee

The goal of the Outreach Committee is to strive to fulfill the St. Andrew’s vision statement. This committee invites and informs church members and visitors through advertising, such as postcards, newspaper, and website items, and through personal interaction with Worship Service greeters and our Welcome Table.

Outreach also "in-reaches" to members through meals to homebound individuals and new mothers, home visits, prayer list cards, remembrance gifts, and delivery of devotional materials.

Fellowship Committee

The Fellowship committee creates, coordinates, and assists in strengthening fellowship among members and visitors. Their typical activities include keeping supplies in stock for the kitchen and keeping the kitchen in good working order.

This committee also assists with fellowship after worship on Sunday and coordinates members to serve as hosts after service. They assist in hosting special occasions such as the Rally Sunday dinner, Thanksgiving Pie Fest, Soup Suppers, and Birthday Sunday, and help other committees or guests with special occasion dinners, picnics, receptions, funerals, and anniversaries.
